Analog Print Workshop
with a Risograph

A low-stakes workshop in making something by compromising with an old-school machine. We will be spending the next few hours attempting to convince a 300-pound risograph to print two colors on top of each other. Abandon your hope for precision or appetite for usefulness. That's why it's fun.

What you get

  • Led by a local artist (yes, I pay them)
  • Small group, ~15 people max
  • Low-pressure, introvert friendly
  • Walk out with your own risograph prints to keep
  • Behind-the-scenes access to Reclaim Clay Collective studio

What to expect

No experience needed. You'll learn the basics of risograph printing — how the machine works, how to prep your files, and how to layer colors. Then you'll make your own prints. The results are always a little unpredictable and a little imperfect. That's the whole point.

What to bring

Just yourself. All materials are included in the ticket price. Wear something you don't mind getting a little ink on (the riso is generous with ink).

Tickets

$95 + tax per person. Includes studio time, artist's time, and all materials. Tickets are non-refundable but transferrable to a different event — just email me at kamila@burntoutseattle.com.
